Do you keep track of the labor market as a freelancer?
The August jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the labor market buckling under the weight of the Delta variant. The economy added just 235,000 jobs, well below expectations and down from the 1,053,000 jobs added in July.
With disappointing job gains announced today, I'm curious how much you have kept track of the changes in the labor market as part of running your business. I tend to not focus on it very much at all because it's something that is pretty much outside of our control.
However, have you noticed any changes in the freelancing marketing as of late? How strong does the market for your freelance services feel to you?
